Nathan wouldn't be a freshman. He's two years older than Kade. He's almost a year younger than Joule, and he's the kid who skipped a grade because he's like a genius, leader of the varsity level rugby team, star of the track team and hockey team, and a member of all the other sports teams, and in more clubs than you can count on both your hands and does so much volunteer work you're left wondering how he can possibly get any sleep and have (almost) straight As. He'd be the real popular nice guy who everyone either loves or thinks is totally fake.

Nah. He's actually barely passing English. He's not an over achiever, just wants to make people happy, and likes all of his subjects. Sans English. French is his mother tongue. It's understandable.

I don't think one weak subject a non-achiever makes- I mean damn, EVERY sports club AND volunteer work? That's just asking for a stress induced mental breakdown.

Of course the only reason i put him down for freshman is just he seems kind of younger/naiver in the RPs I've actually participated with him in. Getting into character does kinda skew perspective XD

It's funny because Nathan's idea of fun is exercise and volunteer work. He's one of those people who love being busy, and it also distracts him from troubles at home which he would definitely have, so it's what is actually keeping him from breaking down with stress.

Nathan's supposed to come off as seeming naive. He's like really optimistic to the point where people view it as childish. Also a bit of trauma from some mama issues which lead to emotional stunting.

I gotcha- I guess the better place to put him would be the JV Jocks or just Varsity Jocks. Or maybe ROTC since that's all structure and keeping busy and doing good military prep stuff (I think)

I'd personally put him as the Clique-Crossing Everyman, but that isn't really ever brought up in Mean Girls. Nathan doesn't really fit in one specific group.

God talking about this makes me wanna watch it again and freshen up my memory of the movie

Nathan could very well be Lindsey Lohan's character. "If you're from Africa, why are you white?" they asked him. Nathan blinked, tilting his head because the entire sentence was in no way anything about that sentence was true.

I watched the movie once many years ago. All my knowledge about the movie comes from memory and tumblr, ahahaha.
